Income Loss For Norbord

A loss in earnings for the owners of the mill in Barwick.

Norbord says adjusted earnings for its second quarter reached $36-million, down $6-million over the first three months of the year but a drop of $240-million over the same period last year.

The company says a drop in prices affected its bottom line.

As a result, Norbord’s North American operations operated at 88 per cent capacity.
