The RCMP in Manitoba are searching for a man who is wanted for murder in Texas.
Police says 27 year old Derek Whisenand crossed illegally into Canada near Hasket, Manitoba two weeks ago.
He travelled to Winnipeg and possibly into eastern Canada.
He is armed and considered dangerous and should not be approached.
Whisenand is described as 6’ tall, 230 lbs with brown eyes and brown hair.
He was last seen with a black goatee.
He is travelling with a large mixed breed dog, possibly a mix of a German Shepard, pit bull or boxer, brindle in color.
