A Busy Month For OPP

OPP laid almost 190 charges during the month of May in Fort Frances.

That brings the year’s total to over 750.

That compares to the over one thousand issued by the end of May 2018.

Statistics shows police responded to 13 assaults last month.

One occurred at the local jail were a guard was assaulted.

There were also ten cases of shoplifting and five break and enters.

Two of them occurred at the vacant Resolute Forest Products mill by the same two people who now face related charges.
