A newly formed gymnastic club is seeking your support.
The Rainy Lake Gymnastics Academy is a finalist for $5-thousand in the latest Tbaytel For Good campaign.
The club is hoping to secure the money to purchase new equipment as it prepared for a fall opening.
The campaign encourages people to vote for the submission they feel is most deserving.
A member of the academy’s fundraising committee Lisa Brockie says they need people to vote for their submission as often as they can.
“All you have to do is go to TbaytelforGood.net. Select Rainy Lake Gymnastics Academy from the list. Vote. You don’t have to enter your email address to the register,” says Brockie.
Currently, the club is in first place with voting to end June 21.
“The top two entries in the five thousand dollar category will each receive five thousand dollars. So as long as we’re in first or second place we are guaranteed to get five thousand dollars.”
