I don’t happen to be a member of The LGBTQ2 community…but we are ALL members of the same community.
It was beyond a pleasure to experience Borderland Pride Week 2019. The march across the border from The Falls into the Fort only solidifies my feeling of a bigger collective that continues to strive for inclusiveness.
It’s heartwarming that so many young people and families are taking part in Pride events. It’s easy for a straight person like me to comment that “things are getting better” but I truly believe we are on the cusp of a societal shift in the way that we view such a vibrant group all across our world.
The very least we can do is stand with and support each other. I might not know much about the journey you’re on in this world, but I’ll do whatever I can to help you on your path.
