Sleeping Giant Brewery announces closure

A Thunder Bay micro brewery has announced on social media it is ceasing operations after 14 years.

The post by the Sleeping Giant Brewery states it is closing at the end of March.

The company states, “We are deeply grateful to our amazing staff, our loyal customers, and the craft beer community across Northwestern Ontario and beyond.’

The brewery was known for several brands including Northern Logger, Skull Rock and 360 Ale.

The location on Macdonell Street in Thunder Bay is known for hosting numerous events from weddings to community fundraisers and business events.
