Nestor Falls Curling Club receives NOHFC funding

The curling club in Nestor Falls is undergoing significant renovations.

The upgrades include modernizing the building’s electrical system, installing new windows, renovating the club room with new walls, and improvements to the kitchen and bathrooms.

A new roof will also be added on the clubhouse in the spring.

A total of 135 thousand dollars is being granted by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund for the projects.

The 69-year-old building has not seen any renovations in about four decades.
