Chapple township brings in potable water for residents

The Township of Chapple is trucking drinking water in for residents.

The township declared a water emergency earlier this week due to a lack of water from its well field.

Residents and businesses have been asked to conserve water as much as they can and suspend all outdoor and non-essential water use.

The township began acquiring water from a neighbouring community on Friday.

It says the proactive measure is to ensure available supplies and avoid any disruption in service.
