Fort Frances councillor Wendy Brunetta, who sits on the local doctor recruitment committee, says it’s welcomed news and that funding will compliment what the town now provides.
Brunetta says the committee also continues to pursue other avenues for funding to help with local recruitment and retention initiatives.
