Extreme cold warnings in place as deep freeze sets in

Dangerously cold weather will be the norm over the next few days in our region.

Environment Canada has extreme cold warnings in place in the Fort Frances, Kenora and Dryden areas.

It will feel like minus 35 or colder Wednesday and Thursday.

The national forecaster is reminding residents about the dangers of frostbite and the importance of having emergency kits when traveling.

Temps should warm up by the weekend.
