Highway 17 open again

Old man winter is hitting northwestern Ontario with a vengeance.

Highway 17 between Ignace and Dryden is open again after a number of collisions.

The Ministry of Transportation says poor road and weather conditions are to blame.

The OPP are currently two collisions in the Dinorwic area.

Strong westerly winds have created whiteout conditions in some areas.
