An electrical issue is to blame for an early dismissal at Falls Elementary School.
Students and staff were forced to leave their classrooms on Thursday following the smell of smoke and a power outage that impacted a specific part of the building.
School officials on Facebook stated there was no fire, but students and staff went home without their belongings.
After-school activities, programming and events were also cancelled.
Classes resumed on Friday.
