The filing period for this fall’s municipal, county and school board elections in Minnesota is now open.
Some candidates in Koochiching County are quick off the mark.
Adam McIntrye has filled for election as Commissioner for District 3.
Dale Erickson is running for Commissioner for District 5 have filed for election in Koochiching County.
As of noon Thursday, no candidates have yet filed for any of the municipal races or school board positions to be contested in November.
Candidates have until August 13th to fill out their nomination forms.
