The emergency department at Rainy River Health Centre is expected to reopen this morning.
It was closed last night for what Riverside Health Care Facilities described only as “unforeseen circumstances”.
Anyone needing medical care was directed to LaVerendrye General Hospital, 90 kilometres away in Fort Frances.
No further details on what prompted the closure have been provided.
