Charges laid against a Fort Frances man

A 27-year-old Fort Frances man has been charged in connection with a single-vehicle collision in Fort Frances.

It happened on Eighth Street West, at around 7 p.m. Saturday.

OPP say a parked vehicle was struck after a truck drove through the front yard of a home.

No one was injured.

The driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving.

He is also charged with failing to have an insurance card, failing to surrender his driver’s licence and having open liquor in the vehicle.

He has since been released and will return to court in late March.
