OPP continue to look into fatal collision

OPP say a 29-year-old injured last week in Fort Frances has now died.

The person was involved in a collision involving a pedestrian on Second Street East near Portage Avenue last Wednesday at around 6:30 p.m.

The person was taken to hospital for treatment at the time but died on Christmas Eve.

No name has been released.

So far, no charges have been laid.

Police have called in their Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team and Collision Re-Constructionists to assist in the investigation.
