The Treaty Three Police Service is investigating a death of an individual on the Onigaming First Nation.
Officers were called to the community on August 21st to a report of a deceased person and remain actively engaged in the investigation.
In a release issued on social media late Wednesday afternoon the service states it wants to reassure residents there is no immediate threat to the public as a result of this incident.
No further details regarding the death are being released at this time.
