Prospectors Association hands out 7 awards

Five people and two companies have been honoured by the Northwestern Ontario Propectors Association.

Mike Grant and Dorothy Campbell from Thunder Bay have received distinguished services awards for their years of work for the provincial government.

Lifetime Achievement Awards have gone to Jack Parker who was a resident geologist in Kenora and Mary-Louise Hill from Lakehead University.

Delta Resources had the discovery of the year in the Greenstone Belt near Shebandowan, while Greenstone Gold Mines was named the developer of the year.
