August forecast calls for near normal temperatures

The weather for the month of August should be close to normal.

Geoff Coulson says temperatures will run close to average for the first couple of weeks.

“Looking at some of the models, the trend seems to be near normal temperatures for the month of August,” confirms Coulson.

“A hint from by some of the models that the second half of August may end up being a little warmer than normal. So it looks like we’re going to see seasonal temperatures it looks like for the month.”

The normal high temperature for this time of year is about 24 degrees for most communities across northwestern Ontario.
