A man whose car was found near Vermilion Bay has been located safely.
OPP says an abandoned vehicle was located west of the community on Friday.
He was identified only as Leslie from Kirkland Lake.
Under new procedures, police are no longer providing last names in incidents of this nature.
He was operating a black Subaru Impreza but may have been on foot on Highway 17 near Vermilion Bay seeking assistance.
The OPP say he was located in Kenora.
