Officers with the Kenora OPP remain on scene near Burma Road in the Clearwater Bay area after a fatal collision late last night.
The OPP, Kenora Fire and Emergency Service, Clearwater Bay Fire and Northwest EMS responded to the collision involving two SUVs shortly after 9 p.m. last night.
One individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. A driver and passenger of the second vehicle sustained non life-threatening injuries and were treated by the Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
Highway 17 remains closed at Burma Road and the investigation is continuing.
