Dryden OPP make an arrest in a robbery

The Dryden OPP say they have arrested a suspect in connection to a robbery.

On Tuesday night just after 9:00, someone entered a business on Government Street brandishing a firearm and demanded an item.

The complainant contacted police and officers were able to locate the suspect in the business.

The OPP say a 16 year old youth was using a pellet gun.

As a result, the youth has been charged with robbery with a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a weapon for Dangerous purposes.

The suspect can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
