Traffic stop results in drug charge

A 30 year old Wabigoon woman faces three charges including drug trafficking after a routine traffic stop.

Around 4:30 Thursday morning, the OPP pulled over a vehicle on Government Street in Dryden for a traffic offense.

They found that a passenger had breached the conditions of her release order.

A search of the vehicle also uncovered drugs, suspected to be methamphetamine.

The OPP have also charged her with obstructing a peace officer.

She’s due to appear in Dryden Court on Monday to answer to the charges.
