Some Northern Ontario Heritage Fund money for Rainy River Future Development Corporation.
It will use over $116 thousand to purchase a new canopy for its event tent.
The tent is widely used by several groups, such as the Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship, the Rainy River Walleye Tournament, the Rainy River Pumpkin Festival, and Emo Canada Day celebrations.
Some of the money is also going to build a storage shed for the tent and other RRFDC owned-equipment.
The shed will be located in Emo.
