Millions of dollars are coming from the Ford government for hospital upgrades and repairs for hospitals in northwestern Ontario.
MPP for Thunder Bay-Atikokan, Kevin Holland, announced investments of $2.8M for hospitals in Nipigon, Geraldton, Manitouwadge, Terrace Bay and Marathon.
The funds will allow hospitals to upgrade infrastructure like roofs, back-up generators, security systems and windows in the aging facilities.
