OPP Stats For Week of October 24

Provincial Police in the Rainy River District were kept busy last week.

Officers dealt with over 200 calls for service, up to Sunday night.

Eight of the calls dealt with traffic complaints.

Another seven are related to thefts.

Five calls were for disputes between neighbours.

There were also fourteen motor vehicle accidents in the last seven days.

Police laid 25 charges under the Criminal Code Act and 31 under the Highway Traffic Act.
