A lengthy power outage planned for parts of the west end of the Rainy River District this weekend has now been cancelled.
Hydro One was planning to cut power to the township of Chapple, Onigaming, Nestor Falls and several nearby unorganized townships this Sunday for ten hours.
Hydro One says it needed to do so to install new equipment.
Hydro One does not say if it will reschedule the job.
The utility says those impacted by the outage cancellation have been contacted.
