The proposed spray park in Fort Frances is a semifinalist in the Tbaytel For Good program.
The town committee behind the project, now referred to as the Make a Big Splash Spray Park committee, made application to the funding program earlier this year.
The committee will still need public support to win one of three $10 thousand prizes up for grabs.
Voting is scheduled to start today.
It will close on Thursday October 18.
