A Busy Cold-Weather Testing Year Expected

There will be plenty of cold weather testing in International Falls this winter.

Koochiching Economic Development Authority’s Paul Nevanan says their cold weather testing facilities are fully booked for the coming season.

“That begins in November and goes through to March. We’re turning away customers. That’s a really good sign. Jaguar-Land Rover, their numbers are coming back to pre-COVID. It won’t be quite as busy, but they’re building back up, ” says Nevanen.

Nevanen says one of the challenges for the automaker is the cost of transporting vehicles overseas.

Nevanan notes all of their customers are users from last season.

“I think that speaks volumes about the service we provide, and they like the community and the operations.”
