COVID Outbreak Over at LaVerendrye

A COVID-19 outbreak is over at LaVerendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.

It was started January 8, lasting through to last Friday.

Riverside Health Care is still maintaining visitor restrictions.

They include visits limits to two who are fully vaccinated at any given time.

You will also have to show proof of vaccination before entering.

Children under five will not be permitted to visit.

Designated caregivers, not fully vaccinated, are permitted but must have had their first dose by January 10 and receive their second dose by March 14. Those not fully vaccinated will need to take a rapid antigen test before entering.

If you are unwell, please do not visit. If you have COVID-19, been in contact with anyone that tested positive or have been asked to isolate, do not visit the hospital for at least ten days.
