It’s a free weekend of fishing in Minnesota.
It’s designated Take a Kid Ice Fishing Weekend.
Any Minnesotan 16 and older can go fishing without the need for a licence as long as they bring a child under 16 with them.
It is designed to encourage ice fishing and goes from tomorrow to Monday.
A similar weekend in Ontario takes place in February.
