It’s going to be a rainy day this election day in the Borderland region.
Environment Canada has issued heavy rainfall and thunderstorm warnings for the entire Rainy River District, stretching north into the Dryden and Upsala areas.
It says the rain could be associated with very strong wind gusts and nickel-sized hail.
Some areas have already reportedly received between one hundred and 125 millimetres of rain.
