Cold-Weather Testing Getting Underway

A busy year is expected for the cold-weather testing facility in International Falls.

Koochiching Economic Development Authority’s Paul Nevanen says they are hearing from customers looking for testing times.

“We’re anticipating about eleven weeks this year hopefully. That’s our target, eleven different test groups, over a period of time,” says Nevanen.

Nevanen says officials with Jaguar-Land Rover are also expected to return.

“Sounds like that their travel restrictions are going to get lifted here and we will be seeing some Jaguar folks on the ground again which is really good news.”

Nevanen says JLR will be testing a durability fleet with local drivers to be hired.
