The PC party are in hot water for their latest fundraising campaign.
A letter has been sent to supporters that looks like an overdue bill for $300.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath says Premier Doug Ford has to held to account for what she calls a “deceitful mail scam.”
“He really does need to take some responsibility here, step up, and he needs to apologize. The Premier needs to apologize for this deceitful fundraising tactic, and he needs to refund any money that’s come in,” Horwath argues.
Horwath says they have sent their complaint to Elections Ontario, and the party is also investigating whether the letters break federal mail scam laws.
Premier Doug Ford is apparently angry about the fake invoice controversy, but the PC Party hasn’t made any official comment.
