A cabin on Rainy Lake has been destroyed by fire.
It happened yesterday afternoon on McNeal Island, about 10 kilometres southeast of Fort Frances.
The fire levelled the cabin and spread to the nearby trees.
Members of the Watten Volunteer Forest Fire Department and Ministry of Natural Resources forest firefighters responded.
There were no injuries.
The official cause is unknown.
