NWHU Case Count Continues To Climb

The Northwestern Health Unit says that there are eight cases of COVID-19 connected to their catchment area as of Thursday morning.

Six are listed as active in the Kenora region, with one each in the Rainy River and Sioux Lookout hubs. That case in the Sioux Lookout district is the only new case reported Thursday.

Despite being listed as in the region, four of the Kenora cases and the Rainy River case are currently isolating outside of the NWHU.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit says they are monitoring five active cases (with no new cases Thursday), while Ontario is reporting 531 new cases.
