Minnesota’s Koochiching County continues to see a drain on its population.
Statistics from the 2020 Census show a loss of 1,249 people since 2010.
There are 12,062 people, most living in International Falls.
That’s a 9.4 per cent drop in the past 10 years, the greatest among the state’s 87 counties.
By comparison, the state population grew by 7.6 per cent.
