The province’s Aviation, Forest fire and Emergency Services says a contract forest firefighter has died while on duty.
It confirmed the death on Twitter.
The unnamed person died after being transported to the hospital last Thursday following a medical emergency.
Reports say the person was working in the Fort Frances area.
