NWHU: Catchment Area COVID-19 Free

For the first time since 2020, the Northwestern Health Unit says they are not aware of any active cases of COVID-19 in their catchment area.

The latest update, which was released Monday morning, says that the three active cases they reported Friday morning are now all resolved.

The NWHU tells us that they surpassed 100,000 doses of vaccine administered on Friday, with that number now sitting at 100,680.

The next update on what that means in terms of percentages will be released Tuesday.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit also reported no new cases over the weekend. They currently have two active cases they are monitoring.

Across Ontario, there were 114 new cases and no new COVID-19 related deaths reported Monday.
