NWHU Active Cases Down

For the fourth time this month, the Northwestern Health Unit said there were no new cases of COVID-19 to report Thursday morning.

The number of active cases across the health unit’s catchment area is down to three; two in the Sioux Lookout area and one in the Rainy River district.

That means the active case in the Kenora district is now resolved.

There have been a total of 1,092 cases across the NWHU since the pandemic began, with 1,089 (99.7 per-cent) of them now resolved.

They tell us that they have now administered 99,087 doses of vaccine.

Across Ontario, there were 210 new cases recorded Thursday.
