Visits to Long-term Care Facilities Now Welcomed

A change in provincial restrictions is now opening up visits at Rainycrest Long Term Care in Fort Frances and Riverside Health Care’s long-term care sites in Emo and Rainy River.

Residents can now have up to two visitors at a time.

Two caregivers may also be present at the same time.

They can also get visits from hairdressers or barbers.

If it’s an outdoor visit, ten people can be around.

All previous public health measures like mask-wearing, handwashing, and testing remain in place.

Visiting hours at Emo and Rainy River are now 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It’s 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Rainycrest.
