No New Cases Reported Again

For the third time in five days, the Northwestern Health Unit reports no new cases of COVID-19.

There are still four active cases.

Two are in the Sioux Lookout region and one each in the Rainy River and Kenora districts.

The regional health authority says it has administered over one thousand doses of vaccine since last Tuesday.

Almost 98 thousand doses have now been administered.

That puts our vaccination rates at 74.5 per cent at one dose and 55.7 per cent of eligible residents 12 and up being fully vaccinated.

The test positivity rate for June 28th through to July 4th was only 0.4 per-cent.

The rate since the start of the pandemic is at 1.06 per-cent.

In Minnesota, there were no new cases in Koochiching County.
