Premier Doug Ford is playing his cards close to his chest to when Ontario will completely open up.
Ford says they are taking their direction from the Health Table.
“We’re just going to follow their guidelines. They’re the experts,” says Ford, “We’re just going to work day in and day out to number one get every single business open in this province and get them back on their feet, but we’re going to do it cautiously too. We’re going to take the direction from the health team and work with them.”
Ontario had only 170 COVID-19 cases Monday, the lowest level since last September 10.
Ford says he is also working closely with the federal government about re-opening the Canada-US border.
The country could have at least 80 per cent of us vaccinated by the end of the month.
Over 70% of Ontarians have had at least one dose currently.
