Bogus Bill Used In Fort Frances

There are reports of fake money floating around Fort Frances.

OPP say a phony one hundred dollar bill was used at an unnamed Fort Frances business yesterday.

Police are now warning the public to be vigilant when accepting paper currency.

They say watch for the signs it could be fake such as the use of thick paper instead of polymer and tape substituting for the translucent plastic.
