The question was….
“What 1980’s rock album had a name that was inspired by an evening out at an exotic dancing club in Canada?”
The answer is…
“Slippery When Wet” from Bon Jovi which was released in 1986.
The album was recorded in Vancouver. It was originally going to be called Wanted (after the song “Wanted Dead Or Alive”), but when they tried a photo shoot with an Old West theme, it just didn’t work. They needed a new title.
Inspiration struck at a “gentlemen’s club” that the band went to after their recording sessions. This place apparently had a shower to water the dancers on stage.
