CDC Eases Restrictions For Fully Vaccinated Americans

A reduction in the restrictions for those who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) made the move Thursday to ease indoor mask-wearing guidance and social distancing rules for the approximately 117 million Americans who have received both doses of the vaccine.

The CDC still suggests wearing a face covering in crowded indoor settings such as homeless shelters, hospitals, prisons, hospitals, planes and buses.

The other change involves permission to go mask less outdoors in crowds.

Along with the 117 million Americans who have been fully vaccinated against COVID, roughly 154 million more have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
