The burning of brush and grass is being allowed in some communities west of Fort Frances.
The Alberton, Chapple, Emo and LaVallee Emergency Service is lifting a ban it put into place at the end of March.

A similar ban for Fort Frances remains in effect but won’t be lifted until the end of October.
