The closed Canada-US border is front and centre in International Falls today.
A roundtable discussion involving politicians from both sides takes place at the Backus Community Center.
Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP Marcus Powlowski will take part remotely.
He will be joined by Minnesota Congressman Pete Stauber, Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach and Manitoba MP Dan Mazier.
Politicians on the Minnesota side are looking for a lifting of travel restrictions that have been in place for over a year.
The meeting begins at 10:30 a.m.
