Outdoor Burning Banned In Fort Frances

Outdoor burning is now prohibited in Fort Frances.

Restrictions were put in place yesterday with the snow melting faster than normal, and daytime temperatures reaching unseasonable levels for March.

Burning of all brush and woodpiles, fields, leaves and grass is not permitted at any time through to October 31.

The use of barbeques, outdoor fireplaces and fire pits are still allowed.
