A 32-year-old British Columbia man is facing a charge of stunt driving after OPP clocked a vehicle doing 170 km/hr along the Trans Canada Highway in northwestern Ontario.
The vehicle was stopped in the Raith area just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police say the vehicle was doing 80 km/hr over the posted speed limit.
Stunt driving comes with a minimum $2 thousand fine on the first offence, possible jail time and a 2-year licence suspension.
